    Quering XML

      hie i have an xml file which i can query based on some attribute.. can i also get the results sorted based on some other attribute?

          If you put it in an XMLListCollection, you can sort that.

            so there is no way to query it directly from the xml in the by desired sort attribute?

              XML does not have a childnode sort function.

              You can "query", that is filter, the nodes based on an attribute value but not sort.

              If you want to hard sort the child nodes, it can be done programatically. Here is an example.
