    what is wrong  with my menu hierachies?

    axelbp

      hi,

      i have a problem with menu hierachies.

      after debugging my program i took the example of the Menu Component(SimpleMenuExample.mxml)

      from the Actionscript Component Documentation.

      i only changed the xml menu definition to 3 levels,and also then the second menu hierachy is not shown:

      <mx:XML id="myMenuData">
      <root>
        <menuitem label="MenuItem 1">
           <menuitem label="MenuItem 11" >
             <menuitem label="MenuItem 111"/>
           </menuitem>
         </menuitem>
      </root>
      </mx:XML>

      with  :
      myMenu= Menu.createMenu(panel, myMenuData, false);
      myMenu.labelField="@label";

      so the problem is: the menu "MenuItem11" doesnt appear !

      so where is something wrong?xml definition?

      thanks axel

          I'm not sure why "Menu Item 11" is not showing, but you can make it show by adding another item ("Menu Item 1A") at the same level.

                  <root>
                    <menuitem label="MenuItem 1">
                       <menuitem label="MenuItem 1A" />
                       <menuitem label="MenuItem 11" >
                         <menuitem label="MenuItem 111"/>
                       </menuitem>
                     </menuitem>
                  </root>

          I hope that helps solve your problem.
