I'm working on an animation in Flash that is to be shown as a commercial on television. The problem is, when I export it as Widescreen (16:9 720x320) or regular (4:3 640x480) it doesn't fit the same dimensions in premier.
I've been told that is because Flash uses rectangular pixels and Premeir uses square pixels and that is why they do not match even though they have the same dimensions.
Can someone tell me the correct dimensions to set my stage at in Flash that will give me wide screen and full screen when exported as a .Png sequence into Premier? If you know safe zones too that would be especially helpful!
I don't personally have anything to offer to answer your question (no experience in the matter), but here's a link to another posting that goes into some discussion that might prove helpful. If nothing else, you may be able to send a private message to someone who seems like they might know.
It depends if you're targetting the US market, Europe or somewhere else.
Where is the link? I can't seem to find it
