I think all you need is to embed the Bar Code fonts in to your app, that was the way I did it when I used VB 6.0
So I need to be able to print out a sheet of barcodes for members. So if I was to embed a font into AIR I'd have to use Flash? pass in a number to the .swf file maybe a range and create them all in a Flash file for printing?
Not sure how else I'd embed the font, not that I know how to do it yet.
Is this what you are suggesting or mean?
Yes Marty that was what I meant to tell you. I guess you're doing a js/html
Yah, I don't have any experience with Flex yet. Are things a lot better in the world of Flex? If it made my job dramatically easier I would start the learning it now as I'm not that far in yet.

Definitively it'll make it easier for you, probably you can download the TourDeFlex app, it's an AIR app that shows most of the things that you'll probably want to do in your projects, or you can also check the web version if you don't want to install an extra app. But with the web version you can't see the AIR capabilities in use in Flex.
You could try this:
I will be implementing it into a membership program in an air app I'm writing. I'm partial to html/js, so this will be my stop-gap solution for now. Good luck!
