I am working on developing a swf file in FlexBuilder, this swf file then runs in a html site. Basically I create the swf and then copy it to the site. When it runs in the site I cannot see any trace information in the Output panel of Flex Builder.
Is there a way I can get FlexBuilder to read the trace statements, and use the step through debugger in a SWF running in the browser as part of a html site?
You can't trace with the app on the server. Popup Alerts to see data at this time.
I know two variants to see trace info.
1. set correct settings for project. There is a Flex Build path in project settings. You can set output folder and output folder url. So you will be able to bedug application. Frankly speeking I don't try to use it with remote server, but i don't see any problems.
2. Using FF with FlashTracer plugin.
