          Thanks for the great collection of tutorials, kglad-tFlgSg.

          Do you  know some tutorial where the contact form uses both XML and PHP ?

              I think that I should post the 2 .xml files here:

              structure.xml

              <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
              <contactFormStructure>
              <formItems>
                <item id="1" label="Name" required="true" />
              <item id="2" label="E-mail" required="true">
                <validator>EmailValidator</validator>
              </item>
                <item id="3" label="Message" required="true" />
              </formItems>
                </contactFormStructure>

              configuration.xml

              <?xml version="1.0" encoding="utf-8" ?>
              <contactFormConfiguration>
              <emailTo>amanda099@gmail.com</emailTo>
              <serverProcessorType>php</serverProcessorType>
              <serverProcessorFileName>contact</serverProcessorFileName>
              <validateRequiredOnly>false</validateRequiredOnly>
              <submitFormOnEnter>true</submitFormOnEnter>
              <messageSentText>Thank you for your message.</messageSentText>
              <messageSentFailedText>The form is not submitted.</messageSentFailedText>
              <formProcessingText>processing...</formProcessingText>
              <plainText>false</plainText>
              <emailFromSource>2</emailFromSource>
              <subjectSource>Contact Form from your site</subjectSource>

              </validationErrorMessages>
              </contactFormConfiguration>

              ------------------------------------------

              I am working and learning and I would like to create the contact.php for my contact form.

                you might be totally confused or you might be doing two things with which you need help.

                why are you using those xml files?  a reasonable answer might be that you want to create a dynamic contact form.  but that's pretty unusual.  there's nothing difficult about that, but it requires you to learn a 2nd group of things, in addition, to using flash and php.

                and are you using as2 or as3?

                  Kglad !

                  I think that I should do more investigation before I can make myself  understandable

                  You said that:

                  '.........., but it requires you to learn a 2nd group of things, in addition, to using flash and php.'

                  What's 'a 2nd group of things'  ?

                  I am using as3.

                    1.  how to use flash and php

                    2.  how to use flash and xml

                    they are two different topics that aren't related to each other.
