    Webservice Help...

      Hey guys... i have been searching up and down google for days trying to figure out why I cant seem to solve this problem...

      I made a webservice, it is on my server.

      I made an .swf that connects to this webservice, it is on my server.

      I made an .asp page that contains this .swf, it is on my server.

      When I run the swf locally it picks up the data perfectly.

      When I open the asp page locally it displays the swf and the data is picked up perfectly.

      When I try to view the live page published to the web it is not picking up the data.

      I do not see why I had to modify my crossdomain.xml file, but i did just to see if it would help. (too open for me but im just testing)

      <!DOCTYPE cross-domain-policy SYSTEM "http://www.macromedia.com/xml/dtds/cross-domain-policy.dtd">

      <allow-access-from domain="*"/>

      <allow-http-request-headers-from domain="*" headers="*" />

      This is the code in my asp page. allowing script access..

      <object classid="clsid:d27cdb6e-ae6d-11cf-96b8-444553540000"

           width="993" height="360">

                <param name="allowScriptAccess" value="always" />

                <param name="movie" value="/newinterface/interface.swf" />

                <param name="menu" value="false" />

                <param name="quality" value="high" />

        <embed src="/newinterface/interface.swf" quality="high" allowScriptAccess="always"                      pluginspage"http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/download.cgi?P1_Prod_Version=ShockwaveFlash" type="application/x-     shockwave-flash" width="993" height="360"></embed>

      why would i need a php proxy to access my own data? cant be right...

      I am only using flash cs3 and dreamweaver cs3... swf is published in flash player version 9...
