Are there any specifics to your observations?
So far some seem very happy, but some have levels of disappointment.
I had no major issues with 4.0. (Of course, I use only I-frame media.)
I haven't tested rendering but my big projects load 10x faster and I get realtime playback with Magic Bullet looks. Also get twice the frame rate when Dl to AE. I then now having to interpret every damn file.
4.0 was beta...I agree but 4.1 is what CS4 should have been. I knew I had a fast computer but know it finally feels like it.
Also great better BCC suport...cool and even better it only takes less than a second to to click back to Premiere from any other program. 8 times faster at least.
I'm definitely happy, but I expect software to work, near perfectly right out of the box.
I also expect copy and paste transitions to work as documented in the manual, which still dont, paste is stillg greyed out, and paste attributes crashes pp cs4 like thats its job.
Copy/Paste transitions works fine for me and Ive never had paste attributes crash Pr.
Can you describe your environment and how you are trying to copy/paste?
i figured it out, I take my last statement back. I guess i wasnt targeting the track. I was selecting the clips prior, and that didnt work and moving the marker to the center and that wasnt working.
Premiere opens much faster now. It takes a few seconds for a big project instead of several minutes.
AME is still a bit slow, For the big project it took 2 minutes for the queue to start.
Still but 32 undos
Transitions between still work now perfectly
AC3 audio is now audible.
ImporterProcessServer still pops up on my Cineform avi's, so still no go.
