Sounds like your MJPEG codec has been removed from your computer... or PE2 can no longer access it. You could try to re-load any software that came with the camera or try a free MJPEG codec: http://www.free-codecs.com/Motion_JPEG_Codec_download.htm

While you are checking out Paul_LS's link for an MJPEG CODEC, you might also want to check your video driver, to make sure that you have the latest version. Go to your vid-card mfgr's Web site, and check the date of your current driver against the date for a later one.
Problem solved. Thank you.
To check the video driver, how do I find out the manufacturer?
You could look at your Display Adaptor in System Properties>Hardware>Device Manager. If you right click on the adaptor and select Properties you will be bale to see the current driver.
Bear with me, but how do I get to System Properties?

If your operating system is Win XP, then go to Start>Control Panel>System, find Hardware tab and click on Device Manager. You will find information about your video card under Display Adapters. Click on the "+" sign to expand the tree, and there it is. Right click on your listed video adapter, go down to Properties and there you will find Driver tab that lists all the info about your current driver. I hope this helps.
I don't know much about Windows Vista.
