Pagemaker 6.5 Printing to PS Printer and then Distilling to PDF:  Fonts are being substituted

    truered1

I am in the process of upgrading to InDesign -- in the meantime I have had to produce a document in Pagemaker 6.5 Plus on Windows XP platform.  I read the other threads about problems with exporting to PDF on the aforementioned platform, so I followed the other threads' instructions about two-stage print and distill process.  The process works, but when it distills, it is substituting fonts to courier.  The documented I created only uses two fonts.  My question is why if it is a recognizable font in PM 6.5 is it not a recognized font when distilling to a PDF?

Please help (and I hope my question gives enough details and is understandable)!
