When I was working with premiere 6.5 I could take a single frame of video and save it to a folder and print a picture from it.
Can anyone tell me how I can do that with cs3? I know the quality will not be good--at all, but it will capture the basic idea.
Thanks so much for any help you can give me.
Sorry if this is a repeat, the first time I tried to post the question I don't think it worked.
With your Timeline focused (orange border on panel) and your CTI (Current Time Indicator) placed where you wish to extract the still image, go to File>Export>Frame [syntax might have changed, but should be very similar]. You can change the format, name and location. There is also a checkbox to Import that captured still into the Project.
It changed in CS4 and has changed again with CS4.1
Hunt has answered your question, however you will also find links to many free tutorials in the PremiereProPedia that will quickly show you how things are done in Premiere Pro. It's a good investment of your time.
