I have never tried it, but what if you put the result into a suitable Flex text container (one that holds HTML) by using
holder.htmlText = direction_list;
and then read it using
for_storage = holder.text;
Supposing this does what one would hope, then for_storage would then be in the right format for your database.
Thanks for your answer.
I tried it already. This is also returning the text in html tags only when I am storing.
Use a regular expression to remove all the html mark-up
I have used replaceAll method in java and the regex is <.*?> I am replacing this with empty string. I have resolved it.
