    E Book Creation Tools

    j.d.smith
      Hi

I have got to create an ebook for an ICT examination I am taking. I am going to make it in Dreamweaver and could do it by manually linking the pages.

However I would like to know whether anyone has come across any tools (templates/extensions) that might make things easier.

      Thank you

I would say that Dreamweaver is probably the last thing I would use to
create an ebook. The best tool would be InDesign, which will
automatically export everything to a PDF file. I used InDesign CS3 to
create a 144-page journal for a charity last year, and found it very
easy to use. Although the journal was intended for printing, all the
proofreading was done using PDFs generated from the master document.

Whatever Creative Suite we bought (design premium) came with video tutorials for InDesign, which made the program *much* easier to digest. You can turn into a typography Nazi a lot easier with InDesign, that's for sure.

As well as others that have been mentioned, I'd like to show you this
              http://www.ereader.com/ereader/software/product/15001_ebookstudio_win.htm
It's roughly $30 in case you don't have InDesign and may be what you're
              after.
