I have a directory of files within sub-folders on a web server. there is an index at the top leve that servers as a directory. If Adobe Reader (9.1.1) launches within my browser window, it works fine and I am able to navigate the collection of documents. If I have Adobe Reader set up to launch in a separate window however, it seems that the browser downloads the root document to a temporary file and points Reader to that. Then if I try to follow a link Adobe Reader fails to find the document. Presumably it's expecting it to be beneath the temporary directory on my PC. Is there a way to have Adobe Reader run standalone, but refer to a URL based directory structure?
