You can install Adobe Reader 9.1 on Vista, XP, and 2000 SP4.
Thank you very much for your mail. Yes, I know that Adobe Reader 9
can be installed on all of these systems. However, what I want to
know is, do I really need different installation files for different
operating systems and languages? On this web-site there are
different setups for a large number of operating systems/service pack
An excerpt of the operating system variants are:
Windows XP SP3
Windows XP SP2
Windows Server 2008
Windows Server 2003
Windows 2000 SP4
Windows 2000 SP2 - SP3
We would prefer to just have a single installation file for users
on Vista/XP (all service packs)/2000. We do not want to
provide different installation files for all varieties of operating
systems and service packs.
For Adobe Reader 9.1 there exists only different language installations. Why did you assume that there are diiferent versions for the different operating systems?
Here I can download the various Adobe Reader installation files:
Before the actual download I have to select the operating system
(the list which I sent before) and the language. (I do not expect,
that these lists are only visible for me.)
Therefore I assume that the Adobe Reader installation files
differ depending on the operating system and the language.
Download and compare the files.
