As anyone attempted to work with a WCF service (with out using custom bindings on the svc file)?
WCF and FLEX does not seem to work out of the box becuase Flex does not support the
newer SOAP protocols.
A couple reference links I found were here: (I DID NOT TEST THEM).

DOUG LUBEY OF LOUISIANA
too good articles to allow the soap 1.1 protocol on WCF..
and this article:
IN THE WEB.CONFIG
<endpoint address="" binding="basicHttpBinding" behaviorConfiguration="ClientConfiguration" name="IService1" contract="TestWCFService.IService1">
BUT TO NOTE: IT WOULD BE REALLY NICE IF FLEX DID SUPPORT
THE NEWER STRONGER SOAP 1.2 PROTOCOL.
