After playing around with the styles for an input of type checkbox for a while now it seems like none of the styles have any effect on it. Is this an AIR or webkit limitation? No matter the style that is set: background, border, width, height, or any of the webkit-specific styles it still looks the same. Do I need to create a custom checkbox control to get the look I want?
Attached is an image of what it looks like.
Is there any news about this at all? I would be very happy if I could change the default checkboxes and radio buttons in my application.
I tried using this:
It works in the sense that it hides the controls but when I add a background property to the same element, it just shows the default skin. This is really frustrating.
I would appreciate anything about this.
I believe this is enabled in AIR 2.
