      Hai All,

I have a text box and a timer. When I start typing in the text box the time starts. And I give end by pressing some end key the timer stops.

The problem is now when I continuously press any key take for example I am pressing "k" then the timer’s stop still I take my hand from the keyboard. What are the problem in timer. The time out objects is different and the Key down is different. Can you help me on this?

Could you please post the code that you are using? Its very difficult to
find the problem without seeing what you are actually doing.

              Hi,

I'm pretty sure that continuously pressing a key whilst typing into an editable #text or #field member will prevent normal #idle and #timeout events - so the problem probably lies with your code (its not clear with the code you posted - since you didn't show how you are handling keyDown or keyPressed.
