Alright Murray...how did you do that...

    Level 7
On the site you did , Voncullin Associates, you have the background image
fixed and the content scrolls over it...

I also just noticed that on that page you have a short horizonal line in the
top right...is there a purpose for that?

Are you possibly using terms differently that I am? The normal behavior of a
background graphic when scrolling is for the background graphic to move
along with the rest of the page. That's what the graphic on
http://www.vonculinassociates.com/v_about-us.php does for me in Firefox 3.1
                            and IE.

No one else who has checked this page sees a "fixed background graphic"
which does *not* scroll along with the rest of the page. But that's what
you're seeing in Firefox? Which version? Operating system?

                              FF 3.0.1, XP SP3

No, we are speaking the same language, but on this page in FF, the
background is fixed, unmoving when scrolling top to bottom the page.

Ok...upon further investigation of this phenominom, if I reduce the window
to make it that I have to scroll side to side, the background then moves
with it AND the background NOW scrolls up and down...even when resized to
normal (fit entire monitor), but when I go to another page, it goes back to
                              being fixed/stationary/unmoving.

As you probably read from another post...in Chrome, it does scroll, but at a
slower rate than the content...now if he could figure out how it is done....

And no its not pick on murray day, this is what I am seeing...

Looking in FF3, I can clearly see that the background scrolls with the text.
And I can categorically state, with complete accuracy, I think, more or
less, most likely that I have not done anything special to fix the
background image - it's just a normal background.

If you're only using the mouse wheel or up/down arrows to scroll, I
wonder if your system is scrolling 57 pixels at a time (size of
background graphic)? That might give the illusions that it isn't
scrolling. And, maybe Chrome has a different setting?

Do you see the same behavior if you use the scroll bar?
