Thanks for ur suggestion...
This questions asked by so many ppl and i could not find correct answer..
My requirement is "i need to dynamically auto refresh the contents in my flex application when ever the xml url updates...?"
For the first time when the page loads i can get the values from the url.
Suppose after 2 mins the xml values updated or new values created, then i need to reflect the same thing in my flex application without loading the entire page...!
Flex is a stateful client, which is different from a regular web page. So if you've already know how to create a Flex app, that loads an XML file. Whenever you want to load the same file or a new one, the Flex app won't reload itself, the only thing that will change will be the date being display, because the underlying XML file has changed.
Do either of these suggestions fit your situation?
Let me give clear idea on my requirement.
I need to develop some meeting tracking kind of application which contains Message Board section on top and below that list of meetings for that date.
In message board i need to update the current status and some message to the users(This updation wil be done in backend application which is not a flex app).
The message board section has to display the dynamic data whenever that particular message updated in the backend.
I am getting the message board data in xml e4x format through URL.(Here xml is not a file, its just data something like <document><message>Test></message></document>).
So i need to update the message board section say for every 10 sec with the data from the backend which i am getting through xml URL.
Is that requirement clear..? Please let me know...!

Using a timer and runtime loading you can accomplish your task, however you're gonna find an issue with browsers caching the xml file, but that's not that hard to overcome.
You could also use BlazeDS to use a publish/subscribe infrastructure
