Custom size Captivate swf not appearing as the correct size

    Brett Rockwood Level 1

I'm trying to insert a custom sized Captivate swf into a Presenter file. The aspect ratio of the swf is not the same as the screen and it seems to be adding white space to the sides of my animation to make it match the 4:3 aspect ratio of the screen. How can I avoid these white borders?

      Thanks for any suggestions.

I think I found a workaround. First you have to find out the real size of the captivate swf in pixels. Captivate shows you that directly, but sometimes you have to add some pixels for the flash controls bar. Then when you import that swf in powerpoint, you can check the SWF properties (big table with a lot of technical stuff). Here you can manually enter the real pixel size (height and width) of the SWF. Then open the object's formatting properties and check the lock aspect ratio option. Then resize the object manually at will. And viola! no more white borders...
