We have a form that is used nationally by the Garden Club of America. Our Zone has dropped in a submit and print button using Adobe Acrobat Professional 9.0 Since many of our users are over 70 we like to test on a few systems to make sure there are no hitches. We have two systems one running XP with Adobe Reader 9.1 and one Vista with Adobe Reader 9.1 that can open the form that we have posted to our website, complete the form and/or print it. On a third system with Vista and Adobe Reader 9.1 we get the following message "The document enabled extended features in Adobe Reader. The document has been changed since it was created and use of exttended features is no longer available. Please contact the author for the original version of this document." Then it will not let you edit. My question what is different with this one system that won't let it do it, but two other systems can.
Thanks for your help in advance.
I'm having the exact same issue. A file modified in Acrobat 9.1 cannot be edited in Reader 8.2, although Reader 9.1 has no problem with it. Extended Features in Reader was enabled.
The ability to Save a PDF from Adobe Reader works ONLY for users of Reader 9 and newer (not 8 and older).
