Yes, Server Side Includes (SSIs) are what you're looking for.
Here's an overview:
SSIs mean that you can change one file (e.g. add a button, change some text,
change a font or color), upload that one file to your server and every page
of your entire website is instantly up-to-date (assuming that the SSI code
is present on every page).
