I assume the clips are high def 1280x720 MJPEG clips?? So you had no problems intially until you added transitions and titles? How long is your project... these compressed clips do put a high load on the computer resources. A large project with added effects could give problems. You could try to make your project in smaller sections then export each section and bring these together in a master project for exporting. Export each section as HDV 720 MPEG2 and bring these into a HDV 720 project preset.
Alternatively convert your clips to high def 1280x720 MPEG2 by exporting each MJPEG clips from PE7 and edit these in a HDV 720 MPEG2 project preset.
thanks for the prompt reply. movie is about less than 15mins? i havent even added the transitions and titles.
will try your suggestion and update soon!
Doesnt work. PE7 crashes the moment everything loads. Sighh.
Guess I have to restart on the whole thing over.
Btw, how do you convert the clips to your suggestion? this is done before you get media or after in PE7?
You could start a new project with the HDV 720 MPEG2 project preset. Import a 1280x720 MJPEG clip, place on the timeline and export (share) each clip as HDV 720 MPEG2.
Or are you going to finally export as standrad definition?
i was intending to go with standard definition. but hdv works fine as well.

If you are exporting as standard definition you may want to convert them to standard definition widescreen DV-AVI. This would give then most robust workflow in PE7.
