Is there a 'Find Previous' feature in Dreamweaver? If not, how could they miss something so bloody useful to the entire programming world?
If I've got multiple forms on a page and I need to know which form a submit button points to, it's like looking for a needle in a haystack. This is really fun on a 1000-line AJAX page.
Mmh, yeah, but you could just use "Find all", which will persistently list any occurane of a serach term in the search panel....
That's great but it doesn't start at my cursor, it starts at the top of the document, which doesn't tell me which form the submit button is attached to.
I can do Find Previous is every other editor I've ever used. I don't know why Dreamweaver wouldn't use it.
I agree that it's rather odd that Dreamweaver doesn't have the ability to search up a page as well as down. It would be a good new feature to add. Why not submit a feature request through the official form? The more people who ask, the more likely a feature is to be implemented.
