You should post this in the Encore forum, but the short answer is by using the end action.
What/where is the end action?
In Encore, of course.
So I have a series of clips in my timeline. They are spaced apart by 4 seconds. Right now I have an encore chapter mark set at the beginning of each clip. How do I make it so that the DVD will revert back to my home menu AFTER the individual clip is played So it doesn't continue on in the timeline? i.e. it will only play from one marker to another?
If your main goal is to play these as separate clips, export each as a separate file from Premiere. You will import it to Encore as its own timeline, rather than a longer timeline with multiple chapters. (So, in Premiere, you set no Encore markers - Encore automatically adds a chapter marker to the beginning of every timeline.)
If that is your main goal, but you also want to be able to play multiple clips, then you make a playlist (in Encore) to play multiple clips.
There are other reasons to select multiple timelines versus a single timeline with chapters. If you are new to this, try a 3 clip test (export 3 of your "clips" as individual movies, and also export those 3 on a single timeline with markers;) put them all in an Encore project, and play with how to link them to buttons, etc) and ask your followup questions in the Encore forum.
