Just wondering how to do this and if it is possible. I have noticed that many of the new generation of professional reference monitors coming out from sony, jvc etc are lcd based. I guess to be able to preview in whatever color space would just be some sort of software setting??
i read somewhere that prem pro is natively YUV so i guess it is a case of getting the monitor to not convert the color space into RGB. obviously this is easier said than done but I guess the principle is more or less correct...
any ideas advice would be greatly appreciated.
To the best of my knowledge, all displays are RGB only.
Premeire's native working environment is also RGB. It can work with certain media it it's native color space, but there are a great many effects that will force an RGB conversion if applied.
Don't you need a BM or AJA card to do that? Capture and display?
