    placing tables at the VERY top left of a page

    beWILLdered_ Level 1
      every time i create a new table in Dreamweaver, it leaves about a 40px gap between the table and the top of the page, as well as a 5px gap between the table and the left of the page.
      is there a quick way to fix this so that the table is is completely flush with the walls of the page?
      i can send anyone the code if i need to.
      thanks.

          Hello,

          Zero out the body margins so the browsers don't use their default value.

          body {
          margin: 0;
          padding: 0;
          }

          Take care,
          Tim

              body {
              background-color: #1c1811;
              }

              Becomes:

              body {
              margin: 0;
              padding: 0;
              background-color: #1c1811;
              }

              And this is CSS, not HTML.

                  Upload the complete page with all supporting files and post a link here.
                  That is the only way we can see exactly what is happening and the code
                  itself.
