1. Re: InDesign to PDF - Client wants clickable ads
Dov Isaacs Jun 15, 2009 9:11 PM (in response to 1106design)The hyperlinks should be associated with the images in InDesign itself and then PDF exported from InDesign with the appropriate joboptions to preserve the hyperlinks.

2. Re: InDesign to PDF - Client wants clickable ads
1106design Jun 16, 2009 11:19 AM (in response to Dov Isaacs)Thanks, but that doesn't quite answer my question. How do I associate a
hyperlink with an image in InDesign and what joboptions are necessary to
preserve the hyperlinks?
Thanks,
Michele

3. Re: InDesign to PDF - Client wants clickable ads
SavvyPop Jun 17, 2009 2:22 PM (in response to 1106design)You can easily do this in the already created PDF providing you use Acrobat Pro...I assume you do.
Open the Adavanced Editing tools, and select the Link tool. From there you can marquee whatever area you wish to be the hotspot clickable area to trigger a action...the actions include openening a webpage.
