Yes, you can using the Request class, which has some static methods to help.... however, it is completely undocumented at this time because we haven't gotten that far yet, so it might be an exploration more than anything to use it right now.
This is the functionality that I want... But how I get a good user-interface for it? For example, when I'm writing Java in NetBeans there is a button for "run tests associated with this module", and when I'm writing Python I can run `nosetests` in the current directory to run tests associated with the code in that directory.
Is there an Eclipse plugin? Or some other trick for doing this with Flex code?

If you are running Flex/Flash builder, the release version of 4.0 will have this functionality
