Try commenting out the RTMP endpoint from your ColdFusion web application's /WEB-INF/flex/services-config.xml, or add fds.swc to your Flex project library path.
Thanks. I just added the fds.swc and it worked fine.
Glad to see your issue was resolved. But I wasn't able to reproduce it.. I enabled CF's RTMP channel and created a Flex app that used a RemoteObject service (over HTTP), and didn't get the error. In theory you should only get that error if something in your app is actually using RTMP -- and if it's not, you shouldn't have to add fds.swc to your app. Could you share a simple project that reproduces the problem? Better yet if you can log an issue at http://bugs.adobe.com/flex/ that would be much appreciated.
I will report the bug. I actually go the error before I ever added any code to the project. It simply would not work even with only the application tags and xml declaration. I did not call any remote objects, services, or anything. As I said in my post I had this problem on two separate pcs.
If it will help I can forward my services-config or messaging-config files.
