    IF statements

    Graphic Graeme

      Is it possible to hide XMl content using an if statement?

      If on frame 15 hide XML content?

      I'm not sure what the code would be?

      Any help would be great

          i think i already dealt with this on another thread of yours.

          you can null the xml instance and then null or remove all objects that used that xml's data.

            Okay…

            that isn't working.

            Should I be placing this text in frame 16 of the layer I want to hide?

            xmlData = null;

            I'm not too sure how this code works or how to utilize it.

            Here's my source files for you to view

            Cheers-

              i usually only download files if i'm hired to fix a problem.

              in your situation particularly, there's likely to be quite a few things that need to be done to reverse the changes made after loading and utilizing your xml file.   and there's no easy way to undo your changes.  you might make it easier by storing references to the objects/variables that need to be revised in an array or arrays.
