From the fields on the subsequent pages that are read only:
Select the custom tab from the properties box and choose Custom Calculation Script and then enter the following; it seems to work for me
event.value = this.getField("Borrower Name").value;
event.value = this.getField("Address 1").value; etc. etc
very cool..Thanks so much!!
Thanks again for the help on this issue. Now I have another. the form i created requires the end user to input into 1 section of the form. Then my output has fields that require math calculations bnased on that input. I can get the calculations to work when tested, but when I try to delete from the input section, to clear the form, I get an error saying 'the value entered does not match format' of 3 fileds that are using a value I am deleting. Any ideas?
Thanks again and in advance
Try setting the field's format to 'None' and see what appears.
The values of the fields on a cleared or empty field is 'null'.
How do you think a 'null' is treated in an arithmetic operation? Maybe as a zero?
Is there an obvious arithmetic problem when using 'null' or zero in your compuations?
Is the result of this calculation defined?
You need to write a 'Custom calculation script' to avoid this situation.
