Did you try skinAutoHide = true; ?
Thanks for the quick response Jim...
I do have the autohide in both the code and param name, but the skin shows up when the video starts. You have to hover over the video and then take the cursor off of it to hide the controls. I want the controls to be hidden from the very beginning when the video starts playing and then if I mouse over it the controls appear.
This is the complete code in AS3 using CS3 that plays a video. When it starts the skin is hidden it only appears when you mouse over.
I have an instance of FLVPlayback in the library only not on stage and I didn't set anything using component inspector.
var video:FLVPlayback = new FLVPlayback();
video.source = "MONTY_PYTHON_THE_HOLY_GRAIL-01_03.flv";
video.autoPlay = true;
video.skinAutoHide = true;
video.x = 260;
video.y = 280;
Thanks for your assistance Jim....
I can't view the code in the library or action script. I am using a default skins (Corona Skin 3) that you apply through dreamweaver "Insert Media > Flash Video". I open up the skin in Flash, but it is a swf and I can't seem to find any code to alter.
Here is a link to what the video where the client wants the hidden controls :
I did find a more transparent skin, so If I can't figure it out, maybe he can live with it.
I am not experienced in editing the skins, so I apologize for being a little naive.
Got me stumped. Maybe you could experement with removing one of the autohide commands either the param or the code. Good luck.
I have the same problem. Did you ever figure it out? Looking at your website example it doesn't look like it.
No, unfortunately. And I scoured the Internet for hours trying to find out. I have CS3, so I am not sure if the newer versions have that capability.
