I am trying to understand stage.align better. The documentation only has a one line description, most of which can be inferred from the name and context of stage.align.
Can someone explain exactly what this property does?
E.g. Does this affect something external to the flex application (i.e. the alignment of the flash window within the browser for example), or does it define something within the flash window (i.e. changing the value will somehow change the output of the flash animation)?
I have tried playing with the value but haven't seen any differences depending on the setting I use. I've seen it used in some tutorials, but can't understand it's purpose there.
If you publish a SWF that is 500x400 and the browser gives the player a larger window than that, stage.align dictates where your SWF appears in that larger area
