    PDF files won't open, Adobe reader keeps trying to re-install instead.


      I was using Adobe Acrobat reader just fine up until installing the newest 9.1 version. After doing so whenever I try to click a pdf file on my desktop to open, I get this message "Adobe Acrobat Reader is required to view this file. Would you like to install Adbove Acrobat Reader now?". I've tried clicking yes and it reinstalls Adobe Acrobat 7 but even when it does that it the next time i click a PDF file to open it it gives me the same installation message.


      If I open Adobe Acrobat reader I can open PDF files through the File -> Open command and that works but I really need it to be able to open files just by click on them. Anyone have any idea?
