Just returned from San Francisco, so the delay was actually appreciated.
Thanks Bill, I hope San Francisco treated you well.....
Problem is i have 260 frames in timelapse to create an animated video so i cant select that lot individually. No idea how to dot it.
Then those need to be resized and put into premiere. I read on the net about clicking on the first in the sequence then the last one shift click but im not sure about this,I dont want lose that lot.
If you are using Photoshop, or Photoshop Elements, then you can place those files into a single folder, then create an Action to Scale, then use Automate and Batch, using that Action to process the entire folder of Images.
If you are using some other program, then there might be issues.
Yes I can see what you mean. I looked in PHOTOSHOP ELEMENTS 10 (not premiere software, just so as we know we are talking about same program) The resizing options are better in photoshop than in Adobe Premiere. But the frames are in premiere organiser and making a folder is something i have no experience of,. If you want to give me step by step instructions that would be good.
I have received conflicting info on the resizing anyway. Resizing concernin distortion and black borders. So in a way i'm still in the dark about that. ie . (the correct resizing from the original 5076x3286 pixel dim:
I do not use Elements Organizer (from either PsElements, or PrElements), so am not familiar enough with it, to be of any help. I use Adobe Bridge for my organizational work, or another non-Adobe program, and neither is all that close to Elements Organizer, except that they can do cataloging of Assets.
I would post your question to either the PsElements forum, or to the PrElements forum, as many users, such as Neale and ATR (PrElements forum) DO use Elements Organizer, and will likely be able to help you. Either forum will yield good and quick results, plus a lot of help.
Thanks so much for the time you took to respond. We just returned from an extended trip and unfortunately (or fortunately) we didn't have access to the internet.
We're off to Africa next week and I'll definitely put your suggestions to good use when we get back
