skinnc Jun 20, 2009 2:06 PM (in response to c.pfaffenbichler)To tell you the truth c.p., I've never trashed my preferences. Doing a google on how to, it said they are in the System folder on my Mac, but I didn't see Adobe Photoshop in there. So.....please educate me: how do I trash my Preferences in PS?

skinnc Jun 20, 2009 8:13 PM (in response to Kath-H)I was looking at the Library at the root of the System instead of the one under my name. Found it now! thanks!
I only threw out CS Settings as instructed....what about CS3 Settings?
Thanks to both c.p. and to Kath for your help.

Buko. Jun 21, 2009 2:15 PM (in response to skinnc)Why don't you save your actions? then you can reload them.

8. Re: Shadow/Highlight malfunction
skinnc Jun 21, 2009 5:36 PM (in response to Buko.)True enough, Buko, if I knew how to save and reload the actions without too much mental agony, that would be a possible solution.
(I just assumed that since that technique strips the Action Palette that it might undo other nooks and crannies I don't know about -- and then I'd be doing the dumb slap.)
what do you think?
