This is a Catalyst bug. Can you send exact steps to reproduce it?
I suspect part of your problem may be the asterisks in the project name. I'd try renaming the FXP...if that won't work, you may have to start over.
Should i just attach my .fxp project file? I that would be easyer because i cant remember how to recreate it.
Hi super clark,
I was able to reproduce your problem, and I've filed a bug. The bug is caused by the # in the original filename. If you rename the AI file and remove the #, the problem goes away.
I got the same "cannot find Main.html" error when I tried to run my project. However, when I went into the Code mode in Catalyst, my errors were different. I had three errors that basically said the same thing: "Cannot resolve attribute 'marginleft' for component type spark.primitives.RichText."
Was there some sort of problem when Catalyst imported the AI file?
I have done lots of tests when importing .ai files. Your filename cannont have numbers or any @#?=+ in the name. The problem with my file was it was named websitetest#1.ai and catalyst didnt like it. So i renamed the .ai file to websitetest and reimported it and it worked just fine.
That could very well be the problem. My AI file was named "App02.ai." Two numbers in it. I will change the name, reimport it, and let you know how it goes.
OK, I tried taking the numbers out of my AI file name. That did not work. However, when I took the hanging indent out of my paragraphs, that DID solve the problem.
I removed the hanging indent, saved my AI file. Then imported the AI file into Catalyst. "Run Project" worked just fine (main.html was created).
