Ok, two steps forward then one back. I am using mx 2004 in windows to create a full screen projector for Mac. In windows, the the window controls go away and the app looks like a full screen application. The Mac projector however shows the top windows controls on my 640x480 movie - ie the red, orange, and green buttons on the top left. I looked through all of the publish settings and I can't see anything that would be causing this. Can someone please tell me how to get rid of these windows controls in Mac version so I can have a clean looking full screen app with no windows controls? I would very much appreciate it thanks!
Make sure there are no sprites on the stage selected, then go to the Property Inspector and you should see a tab labelled, 'Display Template'. Click on that tab and from there uncheck 'Visible' from the Titlebar Options subsection.
I don't work on a mac, so I cannot confirm that it works for mac, but if you haven't tried that yet then maybe that'll do the trick.
I have been using Director since version 4 and never noticed those properties. It worked and hopefully I can make use of them again - thanks!
