FLV is an output format, intended for delivery, not for editing. Try again with material from a video camera, preferably a tape based DV camera.
Thanks for the info it was most helpful in understanding my issue. I use a sony video card to shoot my video, not a P2 or anything like that. They are shot in MPEG format wich is not supported. What do you suggest? Thank-You. I have a video converter.
Get the full version. That supports MPEG, in contrast to the trial version. If you don't like it, there is a 30 days return period.
The alternative is to convert to DV AVI type2, which is much easier to edit than MPEG and can be tried with the trial version.
