Can you please attach your log file to help us figure out what's going wrong? Here's how you can find it:
1. Open up the Terminal (in Applications/Utilities).
2. Type the following and then press enter:
cp Library/Application\ Support/Adobe/Flash\ Catalyst/workspace/.metadata/.log Desktop/log
3. You should see a file called log on your Desktop. Attach this file to your post.

Can you please try deleting this folder and seeing if that fixes the problem:
/Users/<Your User Name>/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Flash Catalyst/workspace
There should be no need to uninstall/reinstall after you've done this - just try launching Catalyst again.
I found and deleted the folder you mention.
However, I still have the exact same behaviors/errors as described above.

I probably should have said that Catalyst is localized in french on my (french) system.
Unfortunately, I didn't have the chance to choose otherwise during the install process.
Not sure this has something to do with my problem, but I thought that might be worth mentioning.

I just wanted to point out that Beta 2 didn't solve this issue. It still behaves exactly the same, even after uninstalling / cleanning the workspace / reinstalling.
Needless to say, this is a major issue for me.
