are you using code to fade those images? if so, show your fade-related code.
if not, increase your framerate and length the number of frames over which your fade occurs.
How are you currently doing the transitions?
tweening...I was trying to send up the .fla file but it won't let me ..
no code...just the tweening.....
I'm actually using Flash2004MX but in DW it converts it to CS3AS3
That would be a very useful utility if DW could convert AS2 to AS3, but I doubt that it does anything wrt converting a Flash file.
If you are only using timeline tweening, then create a new layer for actionscript and have your first image transition in from empty space. In the frame where the first image is fully visible, insert a keyframe in the actions layer you just created and add a frame label there, maybe call it "loop".
Then, at the end of the timeline where the last movie transitions out, have the first image transitioning in again, just to the point where it is fully visible. Then in that last frame, in the actions layer enter a new keyframe and add the code: gotoAndPlay("loop"); You should now have the wo ends tranitioning like the rest of the images.
Thank you....I've never used "action script"......um.....I will do as your reply suggests to the best of my basic ability...but I might be back.
ps...DW converts/replaces the <object>
DW isn't converting the file. If you are letting Dreamweaver create the code for embedding the Flash file that may be okay... it is hopefully doing so in a modern manner that plays across all browsers... Normally I'd recommend using what Flash generates as the html for the web page, but MX 2004 would probably be doing a worse job compared to DW CS3.
The actionscript I recommended in nearly as simple as it can get, so hopefully you won't have any trouble... but if you do, just post again.
correct....DW is just replacing the depricated code that DW2004MX was putting in so that the page will validate.
I will trust you on the ease of the AS.....thanks for the offer to repost....and THANKS for the quick response!!
Enjoy your day.
