Skullmaker Jun 26, 2009 11:02 PM (in response to Tetracide)Hello Tetracide,
You can use the "Scissors" tool and cut the section of the stroke/brush you want to be transparent. Selecting this section use "transparency" to adjusted to opacity (main Menu: Window + Transparency). I hope this helps!

Tetracide Jun 26, 2009 11:55 PM (in response to Skullmaker)I see what you've done. Is there simply no way to have a transparent background that would allow me to skip the whole scissor tool?

Wade_Zimmerman Jun 28, 2009 11:01 AM (in response to Tetracide)In the transparency panel you can set it to multiply which I think is the best you can do. Or make two paths or three paths that are identical and on top of one another have a transparency set to the one that is black or a blending mode of multiply and the others as normal but I do not think you are going to get everything one brush.
