    Unable to preview in browser

    hungryhipp00
when I open dreamweaver cs3 I get a message saying "Unable to read preview in browser preferences. Please remove all browsers from the list and add them again."

after doing some research I've noticed that the only people with this problem have been those running os x, which I'm running leopard.

I haven't come across a solution so any help on this would be great. I did find a way to work around it by going into the actual file and just viewing but it is annoying.

Did you try what the message says?

yah of course, it asks me to re-install my browsers but that doesn't work, every topic I've seen online with people having this problem it doesn't work for them either. When I fool around with it, pointing it to both firefox and safari, after a while dreamweaver will just crash and exit out.

If that fails to solve the problem, then I recommend you contact Adobe
directly and use one of your one-on-one support incidents.

                Hi HungryHipp00,

I came across the same issue reads "Unable to read preview in browser preferences. Please remove all browsers from the list and add them again." I tried to remove all the browsers and it does not work for me.

The solution is to delete the file "Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 Prefs" located in Hard Disk/Users/YourUser/Library/Preferences.

Before deleting this file make sure that you quit Dreamweaver. After deleting this file if you open Dreamweaver it will automatically create a new file at the same location by the same name. This is some thing like refreshing your Dreamweaver preferences.

                Hope this Helps!!
                Cheers!
