I went ahead and exported it as an .avi movie and tried burning it in Nero. It got all the way to the end of the burning process, then failed. I'm attaching the error message (can you make heads or tails of it?). No, I'm not running it on Vista. Thanks for any help.

Meantime, if Nero is failing to burn, that seems to indicate something more fundamental with your operating system. Make sure your operating system is up to date and that you have the latest Quicktime. And go to your DVD burner's manufacturer's web site (not your computer manufacturer) and ensure you have the latest firmware for your drive.
And ensure that you have 30-50 gigabytes of free, defragmented space on your hard drive.
