    Moving a window when it isn't visible

      I posted CPreferencesManager to AIR cookbook.

      As a usage sample, I described how to persist window positions. While CPreferencesManager works OK, I still need a way to move a window before it gets visible.

      Currently, the window appears and instantly gets moved to its new location using this event implementation of Window:

      quote:

      <mx:Window ... windowMove=”CPreferencesManager.setInt(’main.window.x’, this.nativeWindow.x.toString() );
      CPreferencesManager.setInt(’main.window.y’, this.nativeWindow.y.toString());” ... />

      Any ideas, how to first move the window - and after that let it appear? Currently, it visually appears a bit 'flashy'.
