Does the problem go away if you use the un-customized flvPlayer skin? If it does, did you only change the artwork of the skin? How are you changing the video when a new video is selected to be played, are you just specifying a new source file, or are you moving to a new frame to show that new source?
Hi, thks for answering...
I used the components form the component lists in AS2 and changed the design of them indeed. Only the design. I think the problem doesn't appear with the (so horrible) provided skins... But it also doesn't appear in the original .fla project i just saved as.. and reused for the other section of video. Thaty's really strange.
To go from one video to antoher one, i do a script via a button and go to another frame, yes. I even inserted a Blak KF in the Action layer before the new KF with the code for the skin of the other flv...
Did u check on the link i provided..? The problem appears in the "film" section and not in the "video" one...
some idea of where it can come from...?
Yes, I did look at the file from your link. I saw some problems in both sections. Just changing the artwork shouldn't alter the way that the component works. Are you saying that the problem appears with your custom component in one movie and not another?
oh... in both sections? hmm... What are they...?
To me, it occurs indeed in the movies of the "film" section and not in the "video" ones.
That's actually why i don't get it... since it's precisely the same project...
The only relationship that I saw between the extra marker and the video files was that the "old" marker seemed to stay in its original location when a new video was played that was a different width.
The only suggestion that I have is to move the FLVPlayer component off the visible area of the stage and then move it back on with each change in video file that is played. This may force the screen to redraw correctly.
