Invalid Drive when installing Adobe Reader

I get an error, when installing Adobe Reader 9.1. I've downloaded the .exe file to my desktop and execute it from here.

When checking the PC the installation process will report my U drive as invalid. I've got a U drive as a read only drive on a server. I've tried to disconnect the drive, but that has not solved the problem. Copying all my files to my desktop from the server and changing the paths seems to be a heavy process just for the purpose of installing a utility program.

Can the installation program be forced to install on C: in unattended mode ?

      Have a nice day,
