Can you please take a screen shot of the project properties dialog with the Flex Server node selected and share it with us?
Thanks for having me display the properties for the project. I figured out what was wrong. I had my server setup as standalone when it should have been set to J2EE. Once I changed this, everything worked.
After creating a new project with "Deployed on J2EE" were you able to reproduce the same issue?
Does the screenshot attached belong to the "New Project" setting or the old one where you faced the issue?
Kindly refer to http://www.adobe.com/products/coldfusion/pdfs/cf8_systemsupportmatrix.pdf where it is mentioned CF does not officially support Tomcat.
Can you try the same workflow with the supported servers and let us know if you still face the issue?
This was after I created the project again.
No, I don't want to recreate it with something else. I'll stick with Tomcat. Thank you for your time.
Jeff and all,
I am having the same issue as well. See my post as well. I am using a standalone version of Coldfusion. It is at the same point as Jeff that I am getting the issue.
I have added some screen prints as well.
Adobe FB Team - any info for us who want to try this feature????
This thread was about ColdFusion installed on a separate server. Can you please start a new thread with the issue you are facing using the standalone CF server. To get us started, please attach a screenshot of the project properties dialog with the Flex Server node selected.
